Questions about teams

Make staffing decisions with confidence

What team roles can a practice assign?
A practice has one Owner and can invite Admins, Lead Doulas, Care Coordinators, Billing Admins, and Doulas. The right role depends on whether someone runs practice operations, coordinates active care, manages finances, or provides care directly to assigned clients.
What does a Care Coordinator do?
Care Coordinators facilitate staffing, appointments, client coordination, draft contracts and invoices, and client-approved birth preference disclosures. They do not manage practice access or subscriptions, close care, author clinical notes, access birth preferences directly, approve client signatures, or administer payments.
What happens if a client's care changes?
Mumzie organizes care by pregnancy, then by the practice and services providing support. A practice can transition a service to another provider while retaining its records. Records do not transfer automatically between practices.
